Taken internally, liquid paraffin acts as a lubricant to soften stools. Externally, liquid paraffin acts as an emollient to the skin.
Dosage:Adults: 1 to 2 tablespoons at bedtime.

Warnings:Liquid Paraffin should not be used when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting is present. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Always read the label. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.
